The Burcher Jennings quarterly Pricing Forum is an invitation-only event for UK law firms. There is no cost to belong to the Forum and anyone from your firm that has a serious interest in pricing (partners, management, support professionals), whatever their involvement or perspective, is very welcome.
Pricing Strategy and the Hourly Rate
The presentation will be given by Richard Allen, Senior Consultant and Costs Lawyer.
Richard has over 30 years’ unique litigation and costs experience, being one of the first to achieve Costs Lawyer status and make partner in a solicitor’s practice. Richard has vast experience handling significant litigation and costs caseloads for major law firms, establishing and managing several costs departments nationally, including a top 50 practice, and having a central role managing a regional solicitors’ practice.
Richard specialises in boosting profitability, focusing on costs, pricing and funding, both in the UK and internationally. As an experienced trainer, he delivers Burcher Jennings’ Pricing and Costs Masterclasses and develops bespoke training programmes for clients.
He is a founding non-executive director of the Costs Lawyer Standards Board and an accredited mediator. Richard is a regular lecturer with MBL Seminars and is a consultant with Validatum, the leading international legal services pricing consultancy.
