Neil Lobb, Costs Consultant

Neil leads Burcher Jennings’ Truro office as Practice Manager. He has over 30 years’ experience as a civil litigator. As a Costs Draftsman, he has worked with several firms in Cornwall and throughout the West Country, ensuring that clients receive an exceptional level of service, and that their needs are met.

After graduating with a law degree in 1984, Neil qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives (FILEX). Prior to joining Burcher Jennings, he worked at another costs consultancy firm since 2003, providing advice to local law firms. He has expertise in Children Act cases, other family-oriented work and High Costs Case Plans. Neil has also carried out the preparation of Claims / Bills in Court of Protection and Mental Health Tribunal matters.

Neil works with clients on a one-to-one basis, and places particular importance on developing strong working relationships with clients and colleagues. Many repeat clients have requested his personal advice on complex, high-value matters.

Neil’s legal expertise and conscientious, hands-on approach make him an invaluable part of Burcher Jennings’ team.
